Description

You will manage and optimize an enterprise storage infrastructure for Monks, handling design, deployment, monitoring, and disaster recovery while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support storage needs in a media-focused environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years hands-on experience administering enterprise SAN environments.
• Strong knowledge of Fibre Channel protocols and switch management (Brocade, Cisco MDS).
• Experience with enterprise storage arrays (NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage, HPE, IBM, Quantum).
• Proficiency with SAN zoning, LUN provisioning, and multipathing (MPIO/PowerPath/DM-Multipath).
• Familiarity with Linux and/or macOS server environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise SAN infrastructure ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SAN performance issues, connectivity problems, and hardware/software failures.
• Plan and execute storage capacity management, including growth forecasting and upgrades.
• Implement SAN zoning, LUN masking, multipathing, and fabric configurations.
• Administer Fibre Channel and/or iSCSI storage networks including switch configuration.
