💼 About This Role

You'll ensure the safe execution and oversight of Wayve's on-road testing and robotaxi operations. You'll act as an independent safety function, providing real-time risk monitoring and incident investigation. This role is critical to maintaining safety standards in a rapidly scaling autonomous vehicle environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor daily safety performance across fleet operations and R&D testing
• Track safety indicators and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Develop and deliver safety training programs

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience investigating incidents in a safety-critical environment
• Experience in operational safety or risk monitoring in fleet/logistics/field engineering
• Strong analytical mindset to interpret data and present insights
• Ability to operate independently and make sound safety judgments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with autonomous vehicle or ADAS testing
• Understanding of US autonomous vehicle regulations (CA DMV, NHTSA)
• Experience supporting robotaxi or ride-hail operations
