💼 About This Role

You'll lead cash allocation and reconciliation efforts for mortgage servicing operations at Valon, a tech-driven company backed by a16z. Your impact will ensure compliance and optimize cash flows as the company scales.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Oversee end-to-end cash management processes including cash posting and reconciliation.
• Lead resolution of escalated issues such as discrepancies and complex transaction errors.
• Develop and refine workflows ensuring compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Investor Reporting, Payment Processing, and Accounting teams.

📋 Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in cash management or financial operations in mortgage servicing.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• In-depth knowledge of agency investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae).
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and improve operational workflows.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Black Knight, MSP, or similar systems.
• Leadership or mentorship experience.
• Background in audit or regulatory reporting.
