💼 About This Role

You'll own the architecture of the Tonsser platform as we move into a new phase, making foundational technical decisions for a product used by a generation of athletes. Your core impact will be shaping the system, writing production code, and setting the technical direction. You'll also help the team adopt AI as a core capability in how we build and ship.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead architectural direction of backend platform
• Drive technical roadmap for new flagship project
• Ship production code, review PRs, and mentor engineers
• Partner with product, mobile, and design to build at scale

📋 Requirements

• Significant experience as a senior or lead backend engineer
• Deep comfort with Ruby, Python, Elixir, Go, or similar modern backend language
• Strong opinions on API design, data modelling, and system evolution
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into real products

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with consumer-scale mobile backends
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform
