Description

You will lead the development of Anduril's Connected Factory, the software and infrastructure foundation that powers smart manufacturing. You'll architect and scale the digital backbone connecting people, robots, and systems across factories, enabling real-time data flow and automation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software or DevOps engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or management role
• Proven experience building or supporting industrial or manufacturing systems with strong knowledge of automation and controls
• Expertise in data infrastructure, API design, IoT protocols, and edge computing architectures
• Experience deploying and managing systems that bridge IT and OT domains
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of software and infrastructure engineers building core Connected Factory services
• Define system architectures for smart manufacturing at scale, including edge computing, data pipelines, and API integrations
• Design and deploy compute infrastructure for real-time data exchange across thousands of devices and sensors
• Ensure systems align with Industry 4.0 and IoT interoperability standards (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT)
• Drive best practices in code quality, reliability, and observability across the FactoryOS stack
