💼 About This Role

You'll join Scan.com's in-house legal team managing third-party subpoenas in personal injury litigation. You'll protect patient privacy and ensure compliance with HIPAA and state laws. This role offers the chance to build a scalable subpoena response function as the company grows.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate high-volume third-party subpoenas for patient records.
• Draft and file objections to legally defective or overbroad subpoenas.
• Negotiate subpoena scope with plaintiff and defense attorneys.
• Supervise a paralegal and manage subpoena workflow.

📋 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar license in Georgia or eligible for admission on motion.
• Substantial litigation experience with a focus on personal injury.
• Experience handling third-party subpoenas, including drafting objections.
