Description
You will drive development of novel high-throughput assays to measure properties of large sequence libraries, applying data-driven optimization to improve therapeutic molecule design. You'll collaborate with biologists, ML and data engineers, and translational experts to generate and communicate data that maximizes impact on AI-based molecular design.
Requirements
- PhD and 4+ years of post-PhD experience (startup, industry, or research)
- Deep knowledge of experimental methods with quantitative intuition
- Solid foundation in molecular and cellular biology
- History of building highly multiplexed assays (e.g., functional screens or single-cell 'omics)
- Scientific programming in Python, including data analysis and visualization
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy novel high-throughput assays to measure properties of large sequence libraries
- Use data-driven approach to optimize assays and apply chemical/biological insights
- Develop and execute pooled assays for sequence-to-function in vitro, in cells, and in vivo
- Generate, analyze, and communicate data that impacts AI-based molecular design
- Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds to leverage biology and computation
