💼 About This Role

You'll lead antenna and user terminal design for the Telesat Lightspeed LEO constellation, driving architecture for fixed and mobile applications. You'll own technical relationships with antenna vendors and validate prototypes to meet performance and cost targets.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop UT antenna and modem integration requirements
• Evaluate vendor antenna designs for performance and manufacturability
• Lead antenna technology evaluations including ESAs and novel designs
• Support UT Type Approval process and documentation

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years in satellite antenna or terminal design
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Physics
• Master's in Engineering or PhD with ESA research
• Experience with ESA design and modem integration

✨ Nice to Have

• Deployment of ESA designed antennas
• PhD with research on electronically steerable antennas
• Knowledge of open AMIP and open BMIP standards
