💼 About This Role

You'll design and develop integrated electromechanical systems for spacecraft assembly and on-orbit operations at a mission-driven clean energy startup. Your work will directly enable space-based solar power delivery 24/7 across continents.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design electromechanical systems for spacecraft assembly and deployment
• Integrate motors, actuators, sensors, and control electronics
• Perform stress, thermal, and design analysis for space environments
• Build prototypes and conduct testing under simulated space conditions

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering
• 5+ years hands-on experience in electromechanical systems engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software (NX, SolidWorks, or similar)
• U.S. citizenship required

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with spacecraft mechanisms or deployable structures
• Familiarity with space qualification standards (MIL-STD, ECSS)
• Experience with electromechanical systems in vacuum or thermal environments
