Description

Join Planet's Satellite Security team to protect the world's largest constellation of Earth-imaging satellites. You'll design and develop custom security tools, perform security-focused code reviews, and maintain core security infrastructure for spacecraft from design through launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, CE, EE, or related field
• 2+ years professional experience in Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, or EE
• Strong grasp of embedded systems
• Proficiency in C and Python
• Experience with Git, SVN, or similar version control

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom software security tools for satellite and ground systems
• Perform security-focused code reviews on flight and ground software
• Maintain and optimize core security infrastructure including Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
• Configure and test launch-side equipment and support key provisioning for satellite deployments
