Description
You will own the end-to-end design of high-performance PCBs for complex electronic systems, creating schematics and board layouts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related field
- Hands-on professional experience with ECAD tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence, or PADS
- Ability to translate requirements into manufacturable PCB layouts
- Understanding of PCB specifications: stackup materials, trace/space, via sizing, impedance, transmission lines
- Comfort working across multiple projects and adapting to changing requirements
Responsibilities
- Own PCB layout designs from concept through manufacturing handoff for power electronics, RF, mixed-signal, and high-speed digital designs
- Ensure manufacturing readiness by applying DFM best practices and performing design rule checks
- Produce layouts and footprints aligned with IPC standards
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and SI/PI engineers to optimize layouts for thermal, EMI, and mechanical integration
- Inspect incoming PCBAs and address footprint/layout issues
