💼 About This Role

You'll develop and optimize CMM inspection programs for turbine engine components, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards. You'll work closely with the Inspection & Engineering Department to validate part conformity and enhance inspection efficiency. This role offers extensive in-house training and the chance to join a global aerospace leader.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop new and improve existing CMM programs using specialized software.
• Set up and operate CMM equipment to verify dimensional characteristics.
• Interpret and apply GD&T for accurate measurement of critical features.
• Maintain CMM calibration status and ensure accurate inspection records.

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of CMM programming and dimensional inspection in aerospace or precision machining.
• Experience as a metrologist with knowledge of measurement standards and calibration.
• Background inspecting turbine engine components or complex geometries.

✨ Nice to Have

• Associate degree in Metrology, Manufacturing Technology, or Aerospace Technology.
• Familiarity with GD&T ASME Y14.5 & ISO, Renishaw Revo 5-Axis, or Mitutoyo MCOSMOS.
