Description

You will design and build a PBM Financial Risk Engine, developing scalable data models in dbt and cloud warehouses to support financial forecasting, risk assessment, and performance monitoring. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex PBM contract structures into auditable data models and own core financial KPIs end-to-end.

Requirements

• Expert SQL and statistical programming (Python, R)
• 3-4 years experience with dbt and analytics engineering best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and cloud data warehouses (Redshift/Snowflake)
• Business acumen in PBM, healthcare finance, or actuarial concepts
• Experience modeling large-scale claims data and translating financial rules into data logic

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain analytics-ready data models in dbt for PBM financial risk engine
• Translate complex PBM contract/pricing structures into transparent, auditable data models
• Partner with underwriting, finance, and client success to convert requirements into metrics
• Build curated financial data marts and semantic layers for self-service analysis
• Implement automated data quality checks and reconciliations for financial outputs
