💼 About This Role

You'll be the first dedicated legal officer at a trusted identity security leader, building the legal function from the ground up. You will serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team and a hands-on operator managing all legal matters. This role offers the chance to shape the legal foundation of a scaling SaaS company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as corporate secretary and manage Board governance
• Draft and negotiate SaaS commercial contracts
• Develop and execute IP protection strategy
• Oversee global data privacy compliance

📋 Requirements

• J.D. from accredited law school and active bar membership
• 10-15 years of legal experience including BigLaw and in-house
• Prior experience as General Counsel or senior in-house counsel at SaaS company
• Deep expertise in commercial contracts, data privacy, and corporate governance

• Experience at PE and/or VC-backed SaaS companies
• Experience supporting growth equity or Series C+ financing
• Prior experience in M&A transactions
