Description

You will design, develop, and maintain our big data architecture using Kafka and Elasticsearch, ensuring scalability and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement real-time data pipelines, optimize search capabilities, and uphold high coding standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering
• 5+ years of experience in big data technologies, with focus on Elastic and Kafka
• Proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing

Responsibilities

• Implement data processing pipelines using Kafka for real-time data streaming
• Optimize and manage search capabilities using Elastic technologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical specifications
• Oversee code reviews and ensure best practices in coding and data handling
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability
