Description

You will collaborate with engineers to identify pain points in the engineering process, build scalable infrastructure for continuous integration and deployment, own fundamental libraries, and leverage generative AI to boost engineering productivity. You'll define and monitor metrics related to engineering velocity and system health, and educate developers on best practices.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills in C++, Python, or Golang
• Ability to build end-to-end tools to address developer needs
• Expertise in build frameworks such as Bazel, CMake, and Buildbarn
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS and Kubernetes
• 3+ years experience and BS/MS in CS or related field

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Nuro to identify pain points in engineering processes
• Define, instrument, analyze, and monitor metrics for engineering velocity and system health
• Address developer inefficiencies by creating or extending internal tools
• Build scalable infrastructure for merging, building, testing, and releasing code
• Own and improve fundamental libraries and manage code dependencies
