Description

You will design, develop, and maintain advanced geospatial system architectures for federal government programs. You'll provide technical leadership in systems engineering, integration, and cloud-based geospatial solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant systems that support critical missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Geospatial Science, or related field
• Proven experience as a Systems Architect supporting geospatial systems in government or large enterprise
• Strong expertise in Esri products and GIS technologies
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud) and hybrid architectures
• Knowledge of federal IT security frameworks and compliance standards (FISMA, Section 508, DHS directives)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable geospatial system architectures aligned with DHS standards
• Conduct gap analysis and identify technical requirements for geospatial business objectives
• Research and recommend emerging geospatial technologies and enterprise solutions
• Lead systems integration and architecture design across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments
• Manage geospatial data infrastructure including geodatabases and cloud-based repositories
