💼 About This Role
You'll assist partners and lobbyists in a Government Services Practice during the first legislative session of the 54th Indiana General Assembly. You'll draft client communications, research legislation, and track bills at the Indiana State House. This is a full-time, on-site internship with regular participation in legislative activities.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Draft client communications and legislative updates.
- Research legislation and current Indiana statutes.
- Prepare client reports using legislative software.
- Monitor and track bill progression at the State House.
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Knowledge of state governmental processes.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week including evenings.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
✨ Nice to Have
- Previous experience with the Indiana General Assembly.
- Government or political internship background.
- Strong communication and public-speaking skills.
