You will drive sales of HVAC products to a dedicated group of contractors, building long-term relationships and providing technical solutions. This role offers the chance to join a close-knit team in a fast-paced industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in the HVAC industry
- Preferred sales experience in the tri-state area
- Solid technical knowledge of HVAC systems and HVAC product applications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with PC use
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and accounts.
- Provide timely equipment selections, pricing, and scheduling information.
- Promote the features and benefits of Mechanical Technologies’ offerings.
- Prepare equipment takeoffs and bid proposals tailored to project requirements.
- Submit detailed documentation for customer approval.
- Develop technical solutions and resolve customer issues throughout the sales process.
- Create action plans to target new accounts and grow sales within existing ones.
- Collaborate with manufacturer engineers and customer service to ensure excellent support.
- Conduct sales tracking, including opportunities, forecasts, and results.
- Maintain accurate records of project details, orders, costs, and schedules.
- Travel regularly to customer sites and attend training seminars and sales meetings.
- Uphold high ethical standards and integrity in all activities.
