You will drive sales of HVAC products to a dedicated group of contractors, building long-term relationships and providing technical solutions. This role offers the chance to join a close-knit team in a fast-paced industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in the HVAC industry
  • Preferred sales experience in the tri-state area
  • Solid technical knowledge of HVAC systems and HVAC product applications
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with PC use

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and accounts.
  • Provide timely equipment selections, pricing, and scheduling information.
  • Promote the features and benefits of Mechanical Technologies’ offerings.
  • Prepare equipment takeoffs and bid proposals tailored to project requirements.
  • Submit detailed documentation for customer approval.
  • Develop technical solutions and resolve customer issues throughout the sales process.
  • Create action plans to target new accounts and grow sales within existing ones.
  • Collaborate with manufacturer engineers and customer service to ensure excellent support.
  • Conduct sales tracking, including opportunities, forecasts, and results.
  • Maintain accurate records of project details, orders, costs, and schedules.
  • Travel regularly to customer sites and attend training seminars and sales meetings.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and integrity in all activities.
