Description

You will manage and expand relationships with public sector entities across the DACH region, helping them maximize the value of Planet's geospatial solutions for critical applications like environmental monitoring and emergency response.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in Customer Success or account management, ideally with government organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Advanced knowledge of remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial imagery products
  • Ability to develop long-term strategic plans for customers aligned with policy goals and budget cycles
  • Professional working proficiency in English and native-level German

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government customers to achieve mission objectives
  • Identify expansion opportunities and drive renewals and upsells with sales teams
  • Facilitate customer training, onboarding, and best practices for GIS and remote sensing workflows
  • Act as voice of the customer internally for feature enhancements
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams on customer needs and events
