Description

As an Industrial Gases Technician at SpaceX, you will install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain high-pressure gas infrastructure, including helium, nitrogen, and argon systems, to support rocket production and testing. You'll operate and maintain pumps, tanks, and piping, collaborate with engineers on preventative maintenance, and ensure safety compliance. This role is critical to enabling human spaceflight and Mars colonization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing, logistics, or power and gas role
• Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial tank farm equipment (pumps, tanks, valves, plumbing) for high/low pressure helium, nitrogen, and argon.
• Operate and maintain facility gas hardware, high-pressure systems (up to 20,000 psi), and pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with design/build engineers to understand systems and execute preventative maintenance plans.
• Repair and modify piping infrastructure; troubleshoot regulators, valves, and gauges.
• Obtain and maintain licenses and certifications; follow safety and quality procedures (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, etc.).
