Description

As an Accounting Intern on Airbnb's Statutory Reporting team, you will support audits, prepare financial statements, and analyze financial data to ensure compliance for international entities.

Requirements

• First-year Masters in Accounting student (preferred) or Masters in Finance student
• Full-time student graduating between December 2026 - Spring 2027
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• US work authorization (CPT/OPT accepted); no visa sponsorship or relocation to US
• Previous internship or full-time experience in accounting or auditing (preferred)
• Experience with ERP systems like Oracle and NetSuite (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support multiple statutory audits by gathering supporting documents
• Prepare responses to business surveys
• Analyze and test financial data, including sampling journal entries
• Perform search for unrecorded liabilities
• Support preparation of statutory financial statements
• Post statutory journal entries
