💼 About This Role

You'll drive client growth for data center building automation system solutions, working with controls engineers and stakeholders to audit systems and close projects. You'll conduct site audits, develop BMS strategies, and manage the full sales cycle to achieve annual quota. This role requires consultative sales and travel for on-site evaluations.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Conduct site audits and assessments of existing BMS/controls systems.
  • Create and revise solution scopes to meet ROI and performance targets.
  • Present value-based proposals to decision-makers and facility managers.
  • Lead full sales cycle from pipeline development to contract negotiation.

📋 Requirements

  • 5+ years of complex solution selling in building automation or data center environments.
  • Demonstrated success closing BMS or facility performance projects of $5M or more.
  • Experience with utility incentive programs and working with engineers/contractors.
  • Knowledge of OEM building control platforms and integration strategies.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM tools.
  • Experience with smart building standards and influencing specifications.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and integration platforms.
