Description

You will design and implement Temporal AI SDK features to support AI applications with durable execution. You'll work primarily in Python and TypeScript, take end-to-end ownership of features, and collaborate with the developer community. Your work ensures Temporal remains at the forefront of reliable AI infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience and passion for harnessing generative AI, particularly for agents and coding
• Deep understanding of using AI to increase quality
• Sense of taste in code and software development practice, opinionated but not dogmatic
• Track record of open source contributions, including to 3rd party libraries
• Fluency in multiple programming languages and deep experience with concurrent programming

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Temporal AI SDK features supporting a broad variety of frameworks and libraries
• Develop deep understanding of AI application development techniques and emerging architectures
• Work primarily with Python and TypeScript; use AI coding tools extensively
• Take end-to-end ownership of new features, working with teams for exceptional reliability and developer experience
• Serve as domain expert on AI design patterns, collaborating with field staff and community
