Description

As a Sales Engineer at AfterShip, you'll partner with Account Executives and Customer Success to drive technical wins for our Omnichannel product. You'll engage in consultative discovery, design tailored demos and proofs of concepts, and troubleshoot complex integrations across systems like Shopify and Amazon. This customer-facing role is critical to scaling our platform for mid-market and enterprise merchants.

Requirements

  • 4+ years Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting in B2B SaaS
  • Proven experience supporting customer-facing technical discovery and implementations for mid-market or enterprise
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows (REST, webhooks, JSON)
  • Experience designing and troubleshooting multi-system integrations across platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, ERP/OMS)
  • Hands-on experience building and testing solutions in complex environments

Responsibilities

  • Engage prospects in consultative technical discovery and solution design
  • Design and deliver tailored demos, solution walkthroughs, and POCs
  • Work directly with APIs, integrations, and data flows to validate real-world use cases
  • Troubleshoot complex technical challenges across systems (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop)
  • Act as the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering
