💼 About This Role

You'll design how databases are deployed and operated across diverse environments, building automation and observability to keep them healthy. You'll respond to critical production issues affecting some of the world's most impactful use cases. You'll collaborate with customer-facing teams and work with Kubernetes, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build software to automate deployment and operation of production databases
• Participate in regular on-call rotations and troubleshoot system issues
• Manage large scale migrations of database fleets
• Partner with customer-facing teams during incidents and new installations

📋 Requirements

• Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar field
• Experience writing code in Java, Python, or Go
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with database technologies like Cassandra, Elasticsearch, or Kafka
