You'll build tools, documentation, and policies to improve how engineers interact with open source projects. You'll analyze repository trends and represent Datadog in open source communities. This role uniquely combines software development with community engagement.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain tools for releasing open source software
  • Create developer-facing documentation and training materials
  • Interface with open source communities to understand trends
  • Research and write content for the Open Source Hub

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 3+ years as a software developer, SRE, or practitioner
  • Fluent in one or more languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Go)
  • Experience building tools to improve engineer productivity
  • Strong empathy, collaboration, and communication skills
