You'll design and support outside plant telecommunications infrastructure for a leading provider of mission-critical asset management solutions. Your work will ensure reliable fiber and copper network expansion for FTTH, DSL, and Metro-E services. You'll collaborate with municipalities and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform OSP engineering for copper and fiber cable networks.
• Develop designs for poles, conduit routes, and buried facilities.
• Prepare permit packages for local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies.
• Track project budgets and compare estimated versus actual costs.
• Conduct field data collection, measurements, and inspections.

📋 Requirements

• Experience designing OSP telecom infrastructure for fiber and copper networks.
• Strong understanding of OSP principles and telecom industry practices.
• Experience with right-of-way acquisition and permitting processes.
• Familiarity with National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and engineering requirements.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with CAD systems and engineering databases.
• Knowledge of FTTH, DSL, Metro-E, SONET technologies.
• Experience reviewing work of other OSP engineers.
