You'll gain hands-on experience in emergency medicine at VEG, pairing with a credentialed technician for real-time mentoring. You'll shadow triage, diagnostics, and inpatient care to explore emergency veterinary nursing. This unpaid externship offers flexible scheduling and possible future employment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Learn from emergency veterinary professionals
• Shadow and assist with triage, diagnostics, and inpatient care
• Practice skills per school's proficiency checklist
• Experience teamwork and pace of emergency care

📋 Requirements

• Enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program
• Current rabies vaccination or titer
• Ability to stand for prolonged hours and lift up to 25 kg
• Must be willing to work in a noisy environment with strong odors
