💼 About This Role

You'll join the CAD team building advanced 3D algorithms for dental restorations at Dandy, a venture-backed company digitizing the dental industry. Your work will directly impact quality and throughput of digital manufacturing workflows. You'll research and implement algorithms from research papers to solve real-world 3D problems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Research, build, and deploy geometry generation algorithms for dental restorations.
• Build CAD tools that interface with robots, 3D printers, or subtractive machines.
• Interface with deep learning models to integrate AI into workflows.
• Deliver high-performance, well-tested solutions for stakeholders.

📋 Requirements

• Fluency with 3D concepts and mesh processing algorithms.
• Proficiency with geometry libraries like Meshlib, Open CASCADE, or CGAL.
• Experience with WASM bindings using Emscripten and C++.
• Demonstrated expertise building CAD/CAM or geometry inspection systems.

• Experience with 3D modeling tools
• Experience with GPU technology (HLSL, GLSL, etc.)
• Experience with digital dental design tools
