💼 About This Role

You'll join the Ground Software team to build software for testing and flying satellites at a Series C space startup. You'll develop mission automation and command-and-control systems for K2's Gravitas satellite platform, collaborating with Mission Ops and Flight Software teams. This role stands out for its impact on high-power satellite constellations from LEO to deep space.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement software for vehicle build, test, and operations
• Collaborate with Mission Operators and Engineers to scope software solutions
• Facilitate design reviews and code reviews for technical direction
• Support internal and external customers in on-call capacity

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, CE, EE, math, or STEM or 3+ years professional software experience
• 5+ years building software solutions in professional environment

• Experience on space missions or satellite ground segment
• Experience with Rust or statically-typed backend language
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend tooling
