💼 About This Role

You'll own and evolve SkyNav, our mission planning and ground control software, building the primary interface for operators and customers. You'll turn complex autonomous systems into intuitive, fast user experiences that directly control real aircraft. This role blends rapid iteration with real-world deployment at a funded aerospace startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement high-performance UIs for mission planning and monitoring.
• Build rich interactive experiences for maps, timelines, telemetry, and geospatial data.
• Iterate based on operator feedback from live flight tests and customer deployments.
• Improve frontend architecture, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on frontend.
• Strong experience building stateful UIs with React.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and large-scale frontend applications.
• Experience shipping a production desktop app using ElectronJS.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with MobX state management.
• Experience with CesiumJS, Three.js, or similar geospatial/3D libraries.
• Background in mission planning, mapping, robotics, autonomy, or aviation software.
