💼 About This Role

You'll own and scale Rainforest's AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code. You'll build and operate EKS and serverless environments, implement monitoring with OpenTelemetry and Prometheus, and drive reliability for a fintech payments platform. This role offers a chance to shape SRE practices in a high-growth startup backed by a Top 10 VC firm.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Scale AWS infrastructure with Terraform and EKS
• Design CI/CD pipelines with GitLab for safe deployments
• Implement monitoring and observability with Prometheus and New Relic
• Lead incident response and postmortem processes

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years SRE, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure experience
• Deep AWS experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code
• Production experience with Kubernetes (EKS)
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Ruby

✨ Nice to Have

• Startup or high-growth experience
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Postgres (AWS Aurora) database operations
