Description

As a Lab Specialist / Front Desk Assistant at One Medical, you'll provide exceptional patient experiences by performing venipuncture and clinical support, while managing front desk duties. You'll play a key role in removing barriers to care and ensuring a smooth, welcoming in-office experience.

Requirements

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of externship
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-centric mindset with empathy and compassion
• Proficiency with technology suite: Slack, G-suite, Zoom, EMR
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and specimen collection for a diverse patient population
• Perform EKGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, and swabs
• Manage patient intake, scheduling, billing, and insurance verification
• Maintain lab standards: proper labeling, handling, processing, and sterilization
• Handle front desk duties: check-in/out, patient messages, and administrative tasks
