💼 About This Role

You'll lead a cross-functional team of engineers and ML specialists, owning the migration of our AI assistant to an autonomous agentic setup. You'll set the technical direction for LLM-powered system design, making tradeoffs across quality, latency, and cost. This role offers a rare opportunity to shape an entire AI platform at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day execution of the Edge AI team, translating vision into sprint roadmaps
• Own migration of AI assistant to autonomous agentic setup across merchant channels
• Set technical direction for LLM-powered system design with quality/latency/cost tradeoffs
• Build data-informed engineering culture with performance metrics and delivery velocity
• Hire, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and ML specialists including interns

📋 Requirements

• Strong hands-on background in ML/AI engineering or data science with production AI products
• Deep technical knowledge of LLM-powered system design including RAG, embeddings, tool calling
• Proficiency in Python and core AI/ML libraries (PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers)
• Proven track record of launching AI features end-to-end in production

• Experience with orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Solid LLMOps/MLOps and CI/CD practices
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains
