Description

You will lead material cost controlling for production, manage planning and reporting of serial material cost performance, develop business cases, and partner cross-functionally to drive financial targets at Scout Motors, an iconic American automotive brand.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related technical field
8+ years experience in manufacturing or automotive finance role
Strong communication skills to simplify complex financial topics
Proven ability to present financial information to leadership
Strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

Lead material cost controlling including variance analysis, forecasting, and cost-optimization
Own planning and reporting of serial material cost performance
Develop business cases for strategic decisions (insourcing, lease-vs-buy, make-or-buy)
Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Finance
Identify and report cost-saving opportunities
