💼 About This Role

You'll join a collegial legal team providing in-house counsel to the City of Fort Worth, handling condemnation cases for rapid growth projects. You'll see the direct impact of your work on the community through property acquisitions for roads, parks, and infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review files and prepare condemnation petitions
• Represent the City in special commissioners' hearings and trials
• Conduct legal research and draft legal opinions on condemnation issues

📋 Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• 5 years of increasingly responsible legal experience including trial experience
• License from the Supreme Court of Texas to practice
• Ability to pass CJIS fingerprint-based background check
