💼 About This Role

You'll lead mechanical hardware design efforts for Helion's fusion devices at our Everett, WA office. Your role focuses on solving complex, high-impact problems that influence system performance while growing a high-performing engineering team. You'll report to the Director of Mechanical Engineering in this onsite role.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Grow and mentor a team of multidisciplinary mechanical engineers
• Oversee design of machine architecture and high-performance pulsed power systems
• Drive schedule ownership and optimization to accelerate milestones
• Collaborate with Electrical, Research, and Controls teams to derive requirements

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 5+ years engineering experience
• 2+ years in an engineering management role
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with full-scope project ownership
