Description

You will elevate Afresh's core ML platform by building infrastructure and tooling that powers machine learning solutions, enabling faster innovation and direct impact on reducing food waste across over 12,000 grocery departments. You'll own design and implementation of scalability improvements, working with Python and stack-agnostic approaches.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years professional software development experience
• Experience collaborating with ML engineers or data scientists on large-scale ML projects
• Deep expertise in library design, API design, data structures, algorithms
• Strong familiarity with Python (NumPy, Pandas, Torch, PySpark, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ML platform infrastructure
• Build and maintain data APIs, featurization, forecasting systems, and training pipelines
• Enable no-code model deploys and improve integration testing
• Lead projects to generalize model configuration and optimize performance
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
