💼 About This Role

You'll lead control system development for the Target Test Experiment (TTE) project, integrating gas gun operations, diagnostics, and safety systems. Your work will enable laser-induced inertial fusion as a clean power solution. This hands-on role spans design, commissioning, and future modifications.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define control system architecture for the TTE platform.
• Develop HMI tools for operational workflows and system monitoring.
• Specify and integrate data acquisition systems with time synchronization.
• Support onsite commissioning, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of controls engineering or system integration experience.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems (Beckhoff, Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Proficiency in HMI development and system commissioning.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (Austin, TX).

• Experience with LabVIEW, EPICS, or Python control layers.
• Knowledge of laser facility operations or vacuum systems.
• Experience in cleanroom or scientific facilities.
