You'll lead security architecture and hands-on security engineering for a federal program, sustaining legacy systems while delivering a next-gen replacement. You'll integrate DevSecOps, identity enforcement, and RMF modernization to drive mission success.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Lead security architecture and hands-on engineering for legacy and next-gen systems.
  • Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.
  • Enforce identity and access controls, including privileged access and zero-trust patterns.
  • Produce security artifacts: diagrams, runbooks, and engineering-ready guidance.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 8+ years in security engineering or security architecture.
  • Proven ability to execute full RMF lifecycle in complex environments.
  • Hands-on engineering in infrastructure hardening, application security, and automation.
  • Deep experience with identity architecture, access enforcement, and zero-trust patterns.

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Experience navigating programs with political tension or multi-contractor environments.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management, SOC processes, and incident response.
  • Experience guiding teams with uneven security skill levels.
