Description

You will perform thermal, structural, dynamic, and durability analyses on Aeon-R engines and subsystems to guide design decisions and ensure reliability. You'll collaborate with designers and manufacturing engineers, develop and execute tests, and work hands-on with test articles and instrumentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, technology, or mathematics field
• 5+ years of relevant analysis experience, preferably with complex engineering systems
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis
• Experience with computer aided design (CAD) software
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow through

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal, structural, dynamic, and durability analyses on Aeon-R engines and subsystems
• Analyze 3D-printed engine components, complex assemblies, and integrated engine structural integrity
• Collaborate with mechanical designers and manufacturing engineers for optimal solutions
• Develop and execute tests for development and qualification
• Hands-on work with test article integration, instrumentation setup, and data processing
