Description

As a Service Technician, you will evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate test and measurement equipment for ETI Precision in Frederick, MD. You'll work alongside calibration and assembly teams to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a related field required
• Electrical or mechanical calibration experience as well as military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training preferred
• Basic technical knowledge of electronic principles to troubleshoot equipment calibration issues in the field
• Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment
• Able to discuss technical issues with customers, suppliers and internal associates (English language)
• Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations throughout the United States as needed
• Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a background security check

Responsibilities

• Evaluating units for repair, performing research for replacement components, creating repair estimates, and executing approved repairs
• Troubleshooting problems, adjusting and calibrating customer and ETI owned instrumentation and equipment
• Managing customer engagements focused on complete and timely responses to inquiries and requests for action
• Assisting Regional Service and Production Managers by supporting activities that drive timely turnaround of equipment
• Assisting in the assembly of ETI equipment as requested
