💼 About This Role

You'll help build the intelligent orchestration layer for Airwallex's business account ecosystem, connecting Cash, Yield, Lending, and broader product surfaces into a unified financial experience. You'll own the end-to-end delivery of core investment workflows, and contribute to the long-term technical vision of our backend systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and define engineering strategy for the Yield squad
• Deliver end-to-end investment workflows from design to production
• Build and maintain mission-critical financial infrastructure
• Write high-quality, testable code with focus on reliability

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience solving distributed systems challenges like scalability and consistency
• Mastery of backend technologies (Kotlin, Vert.x, Kafka, Temporal preferred)
• Experience with cloud technologies (GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with financial or payments systems
• Experience with observability tooling (Splunk, NewRelic, etc.)
