Description

You will be the first point of contact for delinquent borrowers, responsible for outbound calls and emails to resolve payment issues and reduce delinquencies. You'll use problem-solving and negotiation skills to bring accounts current while delivering a superior customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
• 2+ years customer-centric experience in high-touch, fast-paced environment
• Prior collections experience in financial services preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills
• Excellent negotiation and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Initiate outbound calls and emails for delinquent borrowers
• Resolve customer and account issues via negotiation
• Cure delinquent accounts by bringing payments up to schedule
• Identify opportunities to increase collection efficiency
• Analyze trends in delinquent accounts to improve team performance
