You'll serve as the technical bridge between Recidiviz's engineering platform and state criminal justice agencies, owning data ingest pipelines and building trusted stakeholder relationships. Your work directly enables data-driven decision-making to reduce incarceration.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain state data ingest pipelines in Python and SQL.
• Own end-to-end data quality for 1-2 state partner portfolios.
• Scope and deploy technical solutions with state IT staff.
• Drive initiatives from backlog to production with guidance.

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years experience building data pipelines in production.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Solid Python skills for clean, testable scripts.
• Experience working cross-functionally or customer-facing.

• Experience with government or regulated data environments.
• Familiarity with ETL frameworks or cloud data infrastructure.
• Experience scoping technical projects or translating requirements.
