Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst at SMX, you will lead financial management for large contracts, including budget preparation, tracking expenditures, and interfacing with program managers and clients. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in project cost control or financial management
• Deep knowledge of contract types, CAS, FAR, and JTR
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
• Excellent data management, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to obtain security clearance if required

Responsibilities

• Lead financial management of large contracts or multiple TDLs
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures, Basis of Estimates, and time-phased budgets
• Prepare contract financial Estimates at Complete and identify risks/opportunities
• Monitor costs, manpower, and subcontractor financial trends
• Drive continuous improvement and process automation
