You'll design and develop software for data acquisition and control of Rocket Lab's launch and test infrastructure, working on the Neutron reusable launch vehicle. Your work ensures reliable ground systems for critical missions.

  • Design and develop software for data acquisition and control systems
  • Implement closed-loop control algorithms and automated sequences
  • Configure and troubleshoot PLC systems and networked I/O devices
  • Create HMI software and technical documentation for mission operations

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in software, mechatronics, electrical, or related engineering
  • 2+ years (II) or 5+ years (Senior) experience in software or control systems engineering
  • Proficiency in Structured Text, Python, or C++
  • Experience with closed-loop control design, implementation, and tuning

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Understanding of sensors and instrumentation like pressure transducers, RTDs, thermocouples
  • Beckhoff/TwinCAT or National Instruments/LabVIEW platform experience
  • Experience with ISA-88 and ISA-101 compliant SCADA and HMI systems
