💼 About This Role

You'll lead regulatory compliance programs for Waymo's autonomous driving technology in the APAC region, partnering with legal counsel to document requirements and drive change management. This hybrid role combines strategic governance with hands-on automation using AI tools like Gemini.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with legal to intake and document regulatory compliance requirements for APAC region.
• Define and operate communication strategy for change management across cross-functional teams.
• Help ensure program governance for new markets and maintain existing compliance documentation.
• Build risk assessments and develop evaluation metrics with AV Compliance team.
• Employ automation via Gemini or other systems for requirements and policy drafting.

📋 Requirements

• Core experience evaluating and tracking regulatory requirements, ideally within a GRC tool.
• Experience developing and executing communication strategies for change management.
• Ability to speak and write fluently in both Japanese and English.
• Demonstrable instinct and bias to automate processes and use AI where possible.
