💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Reference Data Team, building scalable data pipelines for market and security master data. Your work will power the single source of truth for Addepar's investment platform. This role offers the chance to shape technical direction and build AI-native products.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Drive technical direction with product counterparts and engineering peers.
• Build and manage a team of engineers to design and deploy scalable solutions.
• Lead development of frameworks for high-performance financial data ingestion and distribution.
• Advocate for best practices and optimize processes for throughput, latency, and accuracy.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of leading engineering teams
• Extensive backend engineering experience as an individual contributor
• Working knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and messaging queues
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, or Java, and relational databases

• Knowledge of financial concepts (stocks, bonds, etc.)
• Passion for FinTech and investment management
